BYD has made a mark in the Brazilian automotive market after registering the sale of 1,640 hybrid and electric vehicles in just two days, evidencing the Brazilian public’s interest in more sustainable mobility alternatives.
Among the vehicles sold during this period was the Dolphin Mini, with 57 units purchased. The Song Plus DM-I, which has established itself as the leader among plug-in hybrids, sold 417 units.
In addition to these, the Dolphin, with 293 vehicles, and other models such as the Dolphin Plus, Seal, Yuan and Tan, also found their way into the garages of Brazilian consumers.

BYD Consolidates Position in Brazil
These numbers are not an isolated case for BYD in Brazil, as during March, the company managed to sell 4,763 units, consolidating its position as the undisputed leader in the country’s automotive market during that period.
While BYD’s success is not limited to a single model, the Song Plus DM-I has proven to be a favorite among consumers thanks to its energy efficiency, performance and design. On the other hand, looking at the bigger picture, 10,065 units of BYD vehicles have been produced in Brazil in the first three months of the year.
All of this has made BYD a benchmark in offering transportation solutions that meet the environmental standards necessary for the planet’s conversation, in addition to providing a driving experience to match.
