Spain and Brazil are strengthening their collaboration in the field of sustainable mobility through public-private partnerships, as the Spanish President, Pedro Sánchez, shared his perspective during his visit to the São Paulo metro construction in March.
This initiative is being carried out by the Spanish company Acciona, where Sánchez highlighted the importance of these collaborations to advance towards a more sustainable city model.
Thus, the São Paulo metro has become a symbol of successful cooperation between both countries. According to Sánchez, this project represents progress in terms of urban infrastructure, reflecting the ability of Spanish companies to offer advanced and sustainable technological solutions.

“This project is going to be very transformative for the city of São Paulo, due to its impressive physical dimensions, the magnitude of the technological challenge it entails, but above all for its human quality and the improvement of life it will bring to millions of people in this city,” said Sánchez.
