Beat Zero Contributes to Sustainable Mobility in Chile with Private Electric Transport

Chile is one of the countries actively and consistently participating in the promotion and adoption of sustainability policies. The mobility sector fits within the measures most frequently targeted for decarbonization, and in this scenario, Beat has launched a service with a 100% electric private fleet.

This service is named Beat Zero, which is a 100% electric private fleet service with fully trained drivers to meet passengers’ transportation needs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

In Las Condes, Vitacura, Providencia, Ñuñoa, Macul, Peñalolén, and Santiago Centro, there are 120 cars available for this mobility plan. Notably, trips are 20% to 30% cheaper compared to a premium service.

To access the service, it is necessary to have the mobile app on smartphones, where the areas benefited are the sectors of six municipalities in the Metropolitan Region described above.

The travel experience goes beyond using the service to get from one point to another, as users will have the option to select the type of music to listen to during the ride, choose the car’s temperature, charge their phones, and keep track of the trip’s progress.

Moreover, beyond enhancing the travel experience, these 120 electric vehicles help eradicate up to 2,000 million metric tons of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere annually.
