The Californian company Aptera Motors has unveiled its solar electric three-wheeler, equipped with 10 square meters of solar panels. These panels are capable of generating enough energy to travel up to 65 kilometers daily under optimal sunlight conditions.
With a starting price of 30,000 euros, the Aptera has captured market attention, amassing over 50,000 pre-orders.
Its founders, Chris Anthony and Steve Fambro, aim to provide a mobility solution that reduces dependence on the electrical grid and lowers carbon emissions.

Aptera Motors presented this model at the CES 2025, sparking great anticipation in the automotive industry. The first units are expected to reach the U.S. market later this year.
The vehicle features an ultra-dynamic and lightweight structure, enhancing its energy efficiency. In addition to solar charging, it offers battery options that enable ranges of up to 1,600 kilometers, catering to various driving needs.
