A Regional Summit on Sustainable Mobility
During the press conference, the main details of “Latam Mobility North America 2026” will be presented. This summit will bring together leaders, specialists, and key players from the public, private, and academic sectors to analyze the transformations that are redefining mobility in Latin American cities.
The summit will take place on March 2, 2026, at the San Pedro Auditorium and will address topics such as electromobility, micromobility, urban innovation, transportation planning, and public policy in a context marked by the transition to more sustainable, efficient, and inclusive transportation models.
“Latam Mobility North America 2026” will feature national and international speakers with extensive experience in electric mobility, urban development, and public transportation policy design.
In addition to conferences and panel discussions, the event will include an exhibition of electric vehicles and technological solutions, aimed at showcasing concrete advances in the mobility of the future.
This combination of academic, institutional, and technological content seeks to create a space for the exchange of knowledge and experiences among authorities, companies, specialists, students, and interested citizens.

Active Space for Debate
The press conference will be led by officials from the area of mobility and urban development, including Gabriel Eugenio Todd Alanis, Secretary of Urban Development and Mobility; Gabriel Ponce Elizondo, Director of Mobility, who will serve as the event facilitator; Luis Alberto Susarrey Flores, Secretary General; and Andrés García, Director of Mobility at Latam Mobility.
The Governor of the State, mayors of different municipalities and entities, representatives of the business sector, specialized organizations, as well as students and the general public interested in issues of mobility, sustainability, and urban innovation are expected to attend Latam Mobility North America 2026.
The promotion of this event is part of an institutional strategy to encourage public debate and social participation around mobility and sustainable transport, strengthening the local and state agenda in this area.
By hosting this summit in Mexico, the municipality seeks to position itself as an active participant in the regional discussion on sustainable mobility, recognizing that the challenges of transport, air quality, road safety, and equitable access to the city require comprehensive and coordinated solutions.
The press conference on Thursday, January 22, will be the starting point for inviting citizens and different sectors to join “Latam Mobility North America 2026,” a meeting that aims to generate knowledge, dialogue, and proposals that contribute to building more efficient, connected, and sustainable cities in Latin America.

2026 as a Year of Consolidation
Rather than ambitious announcements, 2026 will be a year for measuring results. Electric and low-emission mobility will no longer be evaluated by the number of pilot projects but will be judged by its ability to operate at scale, reduce real emissions, and improve the quality of urban life.
For Latin America, the challenge will be to capitalize on its experience in electric public transportation, close infrastructure gaps, and build stable policies that allow the transition to be not only green but also inclusive and economically viable.
With the 2026 Tour, Latam Mobility reaffirms its commitment to building a regional agenda that connects vision, public policy, innovation, and the market.
Through its stops in Monterrey and Mexico City, Brazil, Colombia, and Chile, the platform will continue to promote a collaborative approach to accelerate the transition to cleaner, more efficient, and more inclusive transportation systems, positioning Latin America as a relevant player in sustainable mobility at the global level.
