Medellín solidified its position as the epicenter of Latin America’s clean transportation conversation on June 10 and 11, when the Orquideorama at the Botanical Garden hosted the sixth edition of Latam Mobility Colombia 2026.
The summit, part of the Latam Mobility 2026 Tour, brought together more than 1,200 attendees, including representatives from national and local governments, low-emission vehicle manufacturers, fleet operators, infrastructure providers, startups, and public policy experts.
Costa Rica also joined as the guest country of honor, sharing its deep experience in transport electrification and carbon neutrality.
The natural setting of the Orquideorama provided a stunning backdrop for two intense days of networking, learning, and strategic alliance-building—fully reflecting Latam Mobility’s commitment to accelerating transportation decarbonization across the region.

A High-Level Agenda for Sector Transformation
Throughout both days, the event featured a packed agenda of panels and conversations tackling the most pressing sustainable mobility challenges in the region.

Thematic pillars included governance and mobility (with a special emphasis on the public sector’s role as a driver of regional development), B2B charging infrastructure (analyzing financial models, technology, and the role of CPOs, or Charge Point Operators), and the regional automotive ecosystem (focusing on innovation and clean-tech adoption).

Other key tracks covered Smart Cities and new mobility, exploring international best practices; 360 logistics, with deep dives into Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) , renting, and clean fleet renewal in supply chains; and collaboration strategies to decarbonize freight transport—a critical lever for the region’s sustainable economic growth.

Day two zeroed in on public transport decarbonization, with panels dedicated to co-financing, regional programs, and Colombia’s positioning in the global energy transition, alongside the market, regulatory, financing, and scalability challenges facing zero- and low-emission mobility.
Showcasing the Latest in Electric Vehicles and Micromobility
The technology exhibition area was a major draw, bringing together dozens of exhibitors from across the sustainable mobility value chain.

Attendees explored booths featuring low-emission vehicles across multiple segments—passenger cars, light urban logistics vehicles, and electric buses.

The micromobility zone stood out, displaying electric scooters and shared mobility systems that reflect the growing demand for agile, sustainable urban transport.

A technology pavilion rounded out the experience with charging infrastructure, fleet management software, telematics, and energy storage solutions.

Workshops and Applied Knowledge
Alongside the panel sessions, specialized workshops offered technical, hands-on training. On day one, Logyca delivered a Master Class on strategies for reducing transport emissions, covering concrete methodologies for measuring and mitigating logistics carbon footprints.

Day two featured a session led by ACOMOVES and Fenalco Antioquia titled “LATAM: Connecting Regions, Boosting Electromobility,” which encouraged participants to build a shared vision from the ground up.

Defencarga gave a workshop on road safety applied to transport operations—an essential component for fleet sustainability. Finally, the University of Antioquia and the Battery Diagnosis Center led a technical workshop on battery lifespan and the influence of charging and operating conditions, a timely topic given the accelerating pace of fleet electrification.
These training sessions, available exclusively to invited guests and VIP ticket holders, allowed for deeper dives into the key elements for successfully implementing sustainable mobility in the region.

Upcoming Stops on the 2026 Tour
Latam Mobility Colombia 2026 wouldn’t have been possible without the support of its strategic partners, allied companies, sponsors, and speakers, whose vision made this eighth edition a true milestone.

Special recognition goes out to local and national authorities, manufacturing companies, logistics operators, infrastructure providers, and startups that actively participated, enriching the debate and creating valuable business and collaboration opportunities.

The Latam Mobility 2026 Tour continues its journey with two must-attend events. On August 25, Santiago de Chile will host Latam Mobility ConoSur 2026, a new gathering for clean and sustainable transportation in the southern cone.

Then, on October 12 and 13, Mexico City will host the grand finale at the World Trade Center CDMX.
Both events promise to continue the dialogue and collaboration among key sustainable mobility players in Latin America, building on a community that already exceeds 100,000 executives, managers, and government leaders.
