BYD Seagull 100% Electric to Arrive Soon in Colombia

BYD will present in the coming weeks in Colombia the new Seagull, a 100% electric car that arrives in the country to become the most economical model of the EV portfolio of the brand.

The BYD Seagull, which has been a success in China, has a five-door hatchback design and its silhouette could be similar to cars like the Chevrolet Spark GT or the Kia Picanto, emblematic cars in the country for their size and versatility on Colombian streets.

According to El Carro Colombiano, one of its main attractions would be its price, although there is no established commercial value.

In Mexico, the BYD Seagull sells for between 358,800 and 398,800 Mexican pesos, which in Colombian pesos is around 85 million pesos.

In Costa Rica, for example, this vehicle arrived costing 21,990 dollars, a little more than 86 million pesos. Therefore, if this line is maintained, the Chinese brand’s car would arrive in the country between 80 and 90 million pesos.

“The most awaited electric car by Colombians has arrived. The wait is over! The car that redefines urban mobility, at an incredible price!”, published the brand on social networks.
