BYD announced that it will be the official electric mobility sponsor of the UEFA EURO 2024, a championship to be held in ten stadiums in Germany between June 14 and July 14.
During the tournament, the Chinese brand will provide a wide range of new energy vehicles that will be available to the various attendees during the tournament.
BYD will also showcase its latest electric models and cutting-edge technologies at selected UEFA EURO 2024 venues.

Activations During the Event
BYD reported that it will have a prominent presence in the official “fan zones”, inviting people to enjoy live broadcasts of the matches and sustainable activities that will further enhance the fan experience.
The Chinese manufacturer will create a series of events and opportunities in each market for customers, future customers and soccer fans to participate, enjoy and gain a series of unique experiences that will only be possible thanks to this partnership.
The brand will also organize hundreds of events at official BYD dealerships across Europe to experience this prestigious championship together with soccer fans and customers.
Michael Shu, Managing Director of BYD Europe, expressed the company’s pride in being the first official electric mobility sponsor for this sporting event.
“It will allow us to showcase our latest developments in electric vehicles to a large audience. This partnership reinforces BYD’s commitment to reducing carbon emissions for a greener future, a process in which UEFA EURO 2024 will be decisive,” he said.
For his part, UEFA’s Marketing Director, Guy-Laurent Epstein, emphasized that the partnership “aligns perfectly with the vision of promoting a greener and more sustainable EURO, fusing the excitement of soccer with our commitment to environmental responsibility”.
