BYD Unveils the Brand New Electric Vehicles to be Sold in Mexico

A few days ago, the Chinese vehicle manufacturer BYD announced that it is preparing to start selling electric vehicles to individuals in Mexico. So far, the Asian brand only markets units for public transportation and trucks for corporate operations.

In 2023, it will open the offer for Mexican consumers with the TANG EV SUV and the 100% electric HAN EV, which were presented to the press and the general public.

Specifically, the HAN EV, BYD’s flagship sedan, is equipped with the revolutionary Blade battery, offering exceptional performance in terms of safety and range.

With a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of only 3.9 seconds, participants were able to enjoy an incredible electric vehicle driving experience.

Neva Zhang, BYD Mexico’s Commercial Director, noted that the company is very pleased to expand its global market presence in Mexico.

For his part, Zhou Zou, CEO of BYD Mexico, expressed his satisfaction for this new step in Mexican territory where they will have an attractive offer.

BYD Mexico now has more than nine years of local experience, achieving significant milestones in new energy cabs, trucks and forklifts. Today we mark a new milestone for BYD, we expect to bring new energy passenger vehicles to Mexican users in the first half of 2023,” he explained.

For more than 20 years, BYD has provided an excellent sustainable electric vehicle experience to global users. In November 2022, the company reached the milestone of 3 million new energy vehicles manufactured.
