The Minister of Transport and Telecommunications emphasized that learning how electromobility is being developed in one of the most important companies worldwide is an enriching experience that allows us to see how it is advancing.

“The main task we have in public transportation is to equalize the gap and end the great differences in quality that existed between the capital and the regions. For the same reason, we are making progress in taking this technology to the whole country, and it is possible to see buses of this type in cities such as Antofagasta, Rancagua and soon in Valparaíso“, he commented.

Mats Gunnarsson, Scania’s Director, expressed his satisfaction for the visit of the presidential delegation, underlining the importance of international alliances to advance in the adoption of clean technologies.

“We are proud to welcome the Chilean Minister of Transport and to show him our innovations in electromobility. At Scania, we strongly believe in the need to work together to achieve cleaner and more sustainable cities,” he stressed.
