Renault Argentina has launched a new CNG conversion program in Renault Argentina vehicles, targeting the Kangoo and Logan models—both new and used.
This move addresses the growing demand for cost-efficient and environmentally friendly mobility alternatives.
The initiative kicks off with 1,000 units, with the possibility to double the figure depending on market demand. The expected split is 60% Kangoo and 40% Logan.
Used vehicles must undergo a strict pre-check process and receive specific warranty coverage, while new vehicles retain their original warranties: three years or 100,000 km for the Logan, and two years or 100,000 km for the Kangoo.
This marks a milestone for Renault, as it now integrates specialized workshops into its official dealership network, enhancing its after-sales capabilities.

CNG as a sustainable and accessible alternative
The CNG conversion in Renault Argentina vehicles is more than a cost-saving strategy. Given the challenges of mass electrification, compressed natural gas presents a viable ecological transition.
Renault currently accounts for 24% of market conversions, encouraging the brand to develop its own factory-backed solution with certified technology.
The conversion kit is priced at ARS 2,029,000 and is available with 12-month interest-free financing—particularly aimed at professional users looking to lower operational costs.
Commercial outlook and upcoming models
Renault will keep prices stable through April as part of a broader strategy to boost its market presence.
The company forecasts an 80% increase in sales by 2025, driven by the May launch of the hybrid Arkana and the Kwid eTech. Both models are part of the 4,000-unit electrified import quota.
The CNG conversion in Renault Argentina vehicles also benefits from supportive government policies, such as tax exemptions for auto parts and relaxed import timelines.
Renault continues to diversify its financing approach, with 50% of sales through retail and the rest through financial services and savings plans.
