Enel X presented in Peru its integral solution for corporate and institutional transportation, “e-Transport”.
According to a report by “RPPP”, this business model allows the implementation of electric transportation with financing and support throughout the process: from the selection of the type of vehicle to the construction of the recharging infrastructure.
It is an ecosystem of green transport solutions designed so that more private companies and state institutions can implement electric transport in their operations.
Support for Public and Private Entities
One of the objectives of the Enel X solution is to facilitate the electrification process and make electric transportation profitable in the public and private sectors.
Pilar Matto, Enel X Peru Line Manager, assured that they have the capacity to adapt each proposal to the client’s specific requirements.

“We design tailor-made projects that include all or part of the components of the electrification process with various planning and financing methods. In this way, we ensure that any company, large or small, can access our technology and advance the energy transition,” he explained.
Attributes of e-Transport
One of the great advantages of e-Transport is that it allows companies and institutions to implement electric vehicles and charging infrastructure with installment payment options, since the initial investment cost is one of the great barriers faced by companies wishing to venture into electric transportation.
In this regard, Matto explained that Enel X is in charge of supplying electric vehicles and implementing the entire infrastructure for recharging these vehicles.
“We take care of everything from the design of the project, the adaptation of the electrical networks, the supply of energy, the selection of the electric charger to the start-up and maintenance of the recharging yard, guaranteeing the installation, as well as its respective administration and operation”, said the executive.
In this way, the company accompanies its clients in key aspects of the process, such as the sizing and selection of the type of fleet, the design and construction of the recharging infrastructure and the implementation of electric transport with state-of-the-art units.
