Geotab Expands Collaboration with Stellantis Business Unit

Geotab expanded its collaboration with Mobilisights, a business unit of the automotive group and mobility provider Stellantis.

Mobilisights was established in 2023 as an independent department, fully dedicated to growing the company’s data services business.

The partnership with Geotab brings the connected car concept closer to reality. Data from Stellantis’ in-vehicle telematics system can now easily enter the MyGeotab platform.

Thanks to this strengthened partnership, fleet managers with Stellantis branded vehicles can now benefit from the seamless combination of Geotab solutions and Stellantis integrated telematics system data.

Maximum Efficiency

Sebastien Fraysse, Head of Sales EMEA at Mobilisights, noted that they have created a new business unit under the Stellantis umbrella that enables them to offer data services for the future.

“We are proud to partner with Geotab, enabling fleet managers to optimize their fleet efficiency for 14 automotive brands,” he said.

“Thanks to the integration with Geotab, the fleet customers can now also easily access telematics data from their Stellantis vehicles without the need for additional hardware or software,” he added.

For his part, Christoph Ludewig, OEM VP Europe at Geotab, says the cooperation with Stellantis, represents an important milestone.

“Our customers will benefit from the efficient and easy use of telematics. Advanced data analytics are essential for the future of mobility, including electrification and the integration of autonomous vehicles. This is why partnerships between OEMs and data specialists are so important today, and why we continue to expand our ecosystem.”

Modern connected vehicles, including electric vehicles (EVs) and light commercial vehicles (LCVs), can analyze a wide range of data: location, speed, braking and acceleration, tire pressure and battery charge monitoring.
