The Secretariat of Mobility (Semovi) of Mexico celebrated 125 years of electromobility, noting that on January 15, 1900, the first tram in Mexico City began operation, running from the Zócalo, in the Cuauhtémoc borough, to Tacubaya, in Miguel Hidalgo.
The department stated that, since then, there has been a commitment to sustainable electric transportation in Mexican territory.
The current city administration assures that it will continue to promote projects to advance the development of electric mobility.
