The Government of the State of Aguascalientes, Mexico, announced investment commitments in excess of 4 billion Mexican pesos, earmarked, among other things, to promote electromobility.
The main focus of the trade mission to Asia was on the transition to electromobility, according to a report by the local media Heraldo.
During her visit to Asia, the State Governor, Tere Jiménez, obtained letters of intent from FengMei, Foresight, Huazhong, NBHX and ShiLanmu, all of which belong to the automotive sector.
She emphasized that these projects, which are expected to be developed in the short and medium term, reflect the gradual progress of the negotiations.
Investment Opportunities
Jiménez highlighted the confidence that foreign investors have placed in Aguascalientes, which she attributed to the stability, security and competitive advantages that the state offers.
“This recognition of our strengths by businessmen underscores the environment of trust that we have managed to establish,” she stated.
