Residential Charging or Electric Power Stations? Latam Mobility Colombia to Provide Solutions for EV Charging in the Region

At the beginning of March, the Latam Smart Mobility & Cities Virtual Summit brought together various leaders of the charging infrastructure sector, at a meeting that served to unify the criteria of manufacturers and suppliers of charging products and infrastructure.

As a result of the Summit, representatives of companies such as Porsche, Blink Charging Enel X and Siemens, concluded that residential charging is a great alternative given the lack of charging infrastructure in the region.

Applying intelligence in the charging process and guiding the public properly in a coordinated manner on the available ways to provide energy to electric vehicles, were also some of the conclusions offered by the speakers.

In this regard, the leading community in sustainable mobility, Latam Mobility, will open the doors to a series of solutions that will allow the public and private sectors in the region to work closely to direct all efforts in a single direction in order to increase the confidence of the Latin American population when purchasing an electric vehicle. All this will be provided by high-level panels that will take place in a face-to-face meeting in Medellin, Colombia.

On June 8 and 9, Latam Mobiity: Colombia will be held, a space where high-level executives will meet to discuss the future of the sector and will be able to generate sustainable investments for Latin America.

Entitled “Strategies for the Implementation of Charging Infrastructure in Latin America”, this panel will be composed of Juan Carlos Barahona, Senior Director of Blink Charging, Anna Saavedra, PV & E-Mob Business Development Specialist at Siemens, Jean Paul Zalaquett, Head of Enel X Way Latin America and Daniela Garcia, LATAM Business Development Manager at Vehya.

Moderated by Jaime Arenas Plata, Sustainable Energy Cluster Director, the executives will share in front of more than 400 people the advances and challenges of the sector for 2030 and 2050.

The discussion will take place on Wednesday, June 8 from 11:00 am, Colombia time.
