Description

With more than 776 electric buses, Santiago de Chile has the largest green public transport fleet in the world after the cities of China. In addition, the country has a program called “My electric taxi”, created in order to promote electromobility in the light transport segment.

This scenario opens the doors for what will be the Latam Mobility Conosur: Chile 2023, a meeting that will bring together the nation’s public and private sectors to channel the pathways that allow the objectives of transport decarbonization, acquired through the Agreement of Paris.

In this way, the leading community in sustainable mobility in Latin America organizes an agenda made up of senior government representatives and managers of large companies that, day by day, generate actions to build the necessary infrastructure to secure 0-emission vehicles.

The face-to-face Summit will take place at the Hotel Intercontinental Santiago on August 29 and 30, this last day in the afternoon will begin the Latam Net Zero Leadership Forum Chile, a Latam Green meeting that will address sustainability issues in the region.

Thematic panels dedicated to clean fuels, mobility as a service (MaaS), smart cities and companies’ future plans will be part of the Summit.
