Description

With 2018 as the only point of recession in the sale of electric vehicles, Mexico has a favorable outlook in terms of the adoption of 0-emission cars.

The sales volume of electric vehicles has increased rapidly since 2016, when 254 cars of this type were in demand. With that year as a starting point and taking into account that in 2021 the reference was 768, the Aztec country is called to be one of the leaders in Latin America and the Caribbean in terms of the adoption of this type of technology.

Considering these data, Latam Mobility, the largest sustainable mobility community in Latin America, organizes an exclusive meeting in Mexico City with senior government representatives and managers of companies that invest their efforts in the sector, in order to trace the paths that allow the decarbonization of the transport sector.

The summit will take place on October 10 and 11.

What regulations does Mexico require immediately to encourage the adoption of electric vehicles? Will the country have the necessary charging infrastructure to meet the projections? These questions will be the subject of debate at Latam Mobility: Mexico 2023.

Clean fuels, mobility as a service (MaaS), smart cities and the vision of the main manufacturers globally will also be addressed at the Summit.
