Aiming to consolidate its position as one of the global leaders in mobility solutions, Autocab has made a number of important moves in recent weeks to strengthen its technology platform.
The company specializes in the implementation of cab and private hire booking and dispatching software, with more than one million trips per day, offering innovative alternatives to help individuals and businesses.
Autocab announced Pete Willingham as its new Chief Technical and Product Officer, whose involvement will focus on developing technology to achieve the ambitious mission of having the platform in every cab in the world.
Extensive Background
Willingham has more than 20 years of experience in product and service development for a variety of companies and industries. He began his career as a software engineer on vital and mission critical systems for organizations such as BAE Systems and NHS Blood and Transplan before moving into leadership roles, initially at Manchester’s enterprise resource planning business, Sorted Group.
Most recently, he led engineering at the Identity Division of GBG, a multinational fraud prevention and digital identity company. There, he helped a variety of banking, gaming, e-commerce and social media clients build trust in the digital world.
Following the appointment, Willingham noted that Autocab is well positioned and ready to successfully build and innovate as the global cab industry continues to embrace technology.
