The state of Nuevo León, Mexico, is experiencing a true revolution with respect to the automakers that are settling in the territory to develop technology for electric vehicles.
The State Governor, Samuel García, is leading a crusade to continue attracting important brands that will turn the region into a true electromobility hub.
Garcia announced the signing of an agreement for Tata Group, owner of leading companies such as Tata Motors Limited and Jaguar Land Rover, leaders in the manufacture of automobiles and automotive technology, to activate their work in Nuevo Leon.
“We are wearing Tata today because we are closing deals with the owners,” the official announced.
Big Names
The vision of Nuevo León as a great electric mobility conglomerate is reinforced with the arrival of Tata Motors, joining other leading companies in electrified technology such as Tesla and KIA Motors.
The President also highlighted the signing of an agreement with the state of Maharastra to promote electromobility and technology practices.
“We signed an exchange and best practices agreement with Nuevo León, they are powerful, powerful, financial states,” said García Sepúlveda in statements reported in Cluster Industrial.

Currently, transnational companies from the United States, China, Japan, Germany and now India, which is the fifth largest economy in the world and plans to surpass the Asians in number of inhabitants, are already operating in Nuevo León.
With the adhesion of Tata Group, Infosys and HCL Tech, the governor of Nuevo Leon culminates his visit to India with important alliances that will boost the economic growth of the entity.
Latam Mobility in Mexico
On October 10 and 11, “Latam Mobility: Mexico 2023” will be held at the Word Trade Center in Mexico City, at a key moment for the development and promotion of new technologies that make up the sustainable mobility environment.
