Growth of Electric Mobility in Colombia
The country has experienced significant progress in the adoption of electric and hybrid vehicles in recent months.
According to industry figures, electric vehicle registrations in Colombia grew more than 100% in the first quarter of 2026, with year‑over‑year increases exceeding 200%.
This dynamism has been driven by a favorable regulatory framework that includes tax benefits, tax exemptions, and co‑financing programs for public and private fleets.
Charging infrastructure has also seen sustained expansion, with more than 1,000 charging points distributed throughout the country, including fast‑charging stations that can recover up to 80% of the battery in less than 30 minutes.
These advances have positioned Bogotá, Medellín, and Cali as the cities with the greatest sustainable mobility development in the region.

Extensive Technology Exhibition
The exhibition area of «Latam Mobility Colombia 2026» will feature the participation of dozens of exhibitors from different links in the sustainable mobility value chain.
Attendees will be able to tour multiple booths showcasing low‑emission vehicles from different segments, light vehicles for urban logistics, electric buses, and micromobility systems.
In parallel, the technology pavilion will host booths dedicated to charging infrastructure solutions, fleet management software, telematics, and more – a diversity of exhibitors that will allow visitors to get a first‑hand look at the latest trends in electrification, connectivity, and operational efficiency.
The summit will also include a dynamic demonstration zone where attendees can test drive low‑emission vehicles on a closed circuit, as well as networking spaces designed to facilitate the exchange of experiences and the generation of strategic alliances among different sector players.

Strategic Pillars for the Energy Transition
Over the two days, «Latam Mobility Colombia 2026» will feature an agenda combining high‑level panels, keynote speeches, and specialized workshops. The main thematic pillars include:
- Public policies and governance for sustainable mobility – analyzing tax incentives, emission regulations, and fleet renewal plans in the region.
- Charging infrastructure and business models – with emphasis on the expansion of the charging station network, system interoperability, and public‑private investment schemes.
- Electrification of public transport fleets and last‑mile logistics – addressing success stories and lessons learned in Latin American cities.
- Multi‑energy solutions – integrating electricity, biofuels, and green hydrogen to decarbonize long‑distance heavy transport.
- Smart cities and data management – presenting urban planning tools based on real‑time information.
The gathering will also feature opening and closing plenary sessions led by national and international authorities, as well as a dedicated space for Costa Rica as the guest country, where its policies and results in sustainable mobility and carbon neutrality will be showcased.

Networking and Business Opportunities
One of the added values of «Latam Mobility Colombia 2026» is its ability to generate high‑value connections among participants.
The summit’s structure aims to foster collaboration between the public and private sectors and the exchange of best practices in electric and low‑emission mobility.
The combination of electric fleet growth, charging infrastructure expansion, regulatory incentives, and public‑private cooperation demonstrates that the country is ready to lead the energy transition in the region, promoting cleaner, more efficient, and safer transportation for Colombia’s major cities and logistics corridors.
«Latam Mobility Colombia 2026» will be an essential gathering for all those seeking to accelerate the adoption of clean technologies, reduce mobility sector emissions, and build more livable, efficient, and sustainable cities in Latin America.
