Promoting Actions
The Public Services Regulatory Authority (Aresep) recently announced a reduction in the rates for fast charging points for electric vehicles in Costa Rica.
This measure, which significantly reduces costs, represents a great positive impact on the purchasing power of citizens.
Aresep’s decision represents an ongoing effort to promote zero-emission mobility, thus benefiting the environment and the health of the population, while generating substantial economic savings for those who opt for electric mobility.
Following the measure, the Executive Director of the Costa Rican Electric Mobility Association (Asomove), Silvia Rojas, expressed the satisfaction of the community of electric vehicle users with this reduction in road charging rates.
Rojas highlighted how this measure translates into a relief for the family economy, both for those who use electric cars, bicycles and motorcycles, as well as for companies with fleets of electric vehicles.
