Mercedes Unveils Three Electric Models in Brazil with Enel X Way’s Technological Backing

The growing electric vehicle market in Brazil has been a key factor for large automotive manufacturers to invest in new environmentally friendly technologies.

According to the most recent report of the Brazilian Association of Electric Vehicles (ABVE), 34,203 electrified cars were registered in September of this year. Compared to the same period considering the accumulated 2021, there is an increase of 41.61%.

Against this backdrop, an iconic brand such as Mercedes presented three new electric models for the Brazilian market. They are the EQA 250, EQB 250 and EQE 300.

Available at the company’s 13 authorized dealers in Brazil, they are sold with an Energy package developed in partnership with Enel X Way, the Enel Group’s global business line dedicated exclusively to electric mobility, which includes wallbox charger and installation.

In addition to this package, the model comes with three years of preventive maintenance already included and three years of factory warranty.

Most innovative in Electromobility

The unveiling of the new cars took place during the “Mercedes Benz Electric Day”, where the Automotive Product Manager of Mercedes-Benz Cars & Vans Brazil, Evandro Bastos highlighted that this launch makes up the most complete electrified portfolio for Brazil.

“There are five different products with unique technical characteristics and capable of delivering the best to different types of customers, whether they are more urban, more classic or more sporty,” explained the executive.

For his part, the Director of Enel X Way Brazil, Paulo Roberto Maisonnave detailed that to meet the growing demand for electric vehicles in the country, they are investing significantly in expanding the infrastructure of recharging points, betting on solutions with intelligence and connectivity.

“To achieve the objectives we have an ecosystem that involves the main product and service companies in Brazil, such as Mercedes Benz,” he added.

With a significant offer of chargers in both residential and public areas, Enel X Way represents a partner with the highest technology not only for this project with Mercedes, but throughout the region.
