Stellantis Publishes Results of Sustainability Plan “Dare Forward 2030”

Stellantis has launched its third edition of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Report, outlining the company’s progress on sustainability initiatives to contribute to building a more inclusive and sustainable society for all.

“While mobility is the first element of our sustainable progress model, we also seek to make changes in our own operations and in our communities, whether it’s reducing our impact on the environment, creating more inclusive workplaces or supporting our host communities,” said Carlos Tavares, CEO of Stellantis.

“Progress in these areas is crucial to delivering affordable mobility to our customers and ensuring that all of our stakeholders continue to give us license to operate,” he continued.

CSR actions are aligned with Dare Forward 2030, the company’s long-term strategic vision. During 2023, several initiatives stood out, such as:

Global carbon footprint reduction (across all scopes), massive use of decarbonized electricity, development of circular economy activities, structured vehicle electrification roadmap involving all brands, comprehensive human capital development strategy, strong monitoring and enforcement of the company’s responsible purchasing guidelines, and engagement with Stellantis’ host communities.

Additionally, in 2023, Stellantis inaugurated the first Freedom of Mobility Forum, an initiative that seeks to foster dialogue among diverse stakeholders to enrich the public debate on freedom of mobility in a decarbonized world.

During this event, a panel of experts from industry, academia, administration and civil society shared their views in a live debate under the theme: “In a decarbonized world, will freedom of mobility be accessible only to a privileged few?“.

Finally, the second debate, entitled “How will our planet adapt to the mobility needs of eight billion people?”, took place on April 3, 2024, continuing the exchange of ideas and the search for sustainable solutions for the future of global mobility.
