Autel Expands Robust, Forward-Looking Freight Technology in Latin America

Autel, one of the benchmark companies in freight infrastructure, is significantly expanding its solutions offering in Latin America.

The company had an outstanding participation in the Summit “Latam Mobility: Colombia 2023”, and will be in Santiago de Chile to offer its perspectives in the mobility meeting to be held on August 29 and 30.

In a conversation with Latam Mobility, Israel Martínez, EV Lead Engineer and Daniel Molina Flores, Sales Director of Autel, presented the high technology, trajectory and projects of the company in the short, medium and long term.

“Autel has a wide portfolio of very diverse products to meet the specific needs of each country, ranging from AC and DC equipment to High Power equipment,” said Martinez.

He added that the company specializes in integral solutions in terms of hardware, software and service.

For his part, Molina Flores highlighted that Autel has been in the global market for almost 20 years, and is considered one of the leaders in Intelligent Solutions for Automotive Diagnostics and Maintenance.

“It has closely followed the evolution of vehicles, and has offered timely solutions to diagnose embedded Electronic Technology, Driving Assistance systems (prelude to the autonomous vehicle), and more recently related to New Energy vehicles (Hybrid and Electric),” he explained.

For the Sales Director, building a Digital Ecosystem and solutions for Diagnostics, Intelligent Driving and New Energies are the fundamental pillars of the Company.

With regard to diagnostics, Molina pointed out that the MaxiSys MS909-EV and ULTRA-EV equipment and the new EV DIAG BOX, an advanced tool for direct testing of battery packs, which can be repaired and restored using the MaxiEV, stand out.

Regarding recharging equipment, Autel has positioned itself as a leading supplier of reliable, safe and friendly equipment for both users and recharging network implementers.

About the attributes of Autel‘s equipment, engineer Martinez assured that they are categorized as safe, fast, highly compatible and very easy to use interface, with simple integration to IoT equipment for voice activation.

“Our App is intuitive, helps optimize your EV charging routine and configure your rates to fit your lifestyle and energy,” he said.

Regarding the level of trust that users and client companies can have in these technologies that are still very new, Molina pointed out that the automotive sector is in a process of change.

We are used to applied electronics, now it is our turn to evolve to the understanding of High Voltage electrical systems in vehicles. It is a change that brings above all many opportunities,” he said.

Regarding plans in the region, Martinez explained that Autel is betting a lot on Latin America, installing products and generating alliances for the future.

“In the medium term, we want to make noise and have our products speak for us. In the future, we want to consolidate the brand as one of the most solid and accessible, just like our European and North American subsidiaries,” said the engineer.

During the interview with Latam Mobility, Molina recounted Autel’s achievements throughout its trajectory in electric mobility.

“The experience accumulated by years of work in the diagnostics sector, and the great attachment to the automotive evolution are the base precursors of the development of MaxiCharge chargers, which are compatible with more than 99.5% of vehicles worldwide,” explained the sales executive.

He stressed that Autel’s equipment ensures correct charging in more than 99% of cases from the first time, and minimizes the abnormal disconnection error rate to below 0.1%.”

“Autel breaks the pre-established schemes with chargers made specifically for the region, with premium materials and international certifications that endorse us,” he said.

Molina also highlighted the software, the intuitive and simple app, a Management cloud for remote monitoring, compatibility with OCPP protocol, and other differentiators.
