ABVE and Latam Mobility Sign Agreement to Boost Sustainable Mobility in Brazil

Latam Mobility, the most important sustainable mobility community in Latin America, signed a partnership with the Brazilian Electric Vehicle Association (ABVE), with the aim of advancing on the path towards the decarbonization of transportation and promoting electromobility in Brazil.

After the partnership, ABVE becomes part of the group of allied organizations that will be present at the “Latam Mobility & Net Zero Brazil 2024” meeting to be held in the South American giant, together with other Latin American countries that are part of the Latam Mobility 2024 Tour.

Edi Mariano, Country Manager of Latam Mobility in Brazil, and Ricardo Bastos, President of ABVE, were in charge of the signing of this new partnership that has among its objectives to promote the production chain of lithium and strategic minerals; charging infrastructure; bus manufacturing in the continent; the creation of a regional center for batteries and microprocessors, and public policies and regulations for the sector.

Among the association’s initiatives, EvolvX, Latam Mobility‘s consulting and data arm, with the support of ABVE, will develop a periodic report on electromobility in the Brazilian market, which will be published and distributed free of charge to its members.

Sao Paulo in Sight

On July 1 and 2, the Blue Tree Villa in the city of Sao Paulo will open its doors for the “Latam Mobility & Net Zero Brazil 2024“, which will feature the president of ABVE, Ricardo Bastos, who will participate in the official opening ceremony of the meeting in Brazil.

In addition, ABVE will have an exclusive room at the meeting, where it will receive its more than 120 associates, as well as companies and entities that wish to connect with the Brazilian association.
